Lumber Crew Picture

I used several tools to restore the picture of the lumber crew. Some of the tools I used were the smudge tool, rubber stamp tool, and the adjust colors function to adjust the hue/saturation and the brightness/contrast. I adjusted the hue/saturation to remove the yellow hue that accumulated on the photo as it aged, restoring the original black and white hue to the photo. I then used the adjust colors function again to adjust the brightness/contrast in order to make the photo darker. Afterwords, I used the rubber stamp tool to recreated the portion of the photo in the top left corner which was torn off. I also used the rubber stamp tool to remove the marks and blemishes from the photos. Finally, I used the rubber stamp tool to smooth out the faces of the two men in the photo.

2. When a web site makes a record of your visit, and possibly other sites you have visited, it’s called Web Tracking. Encryption converts your text into gibberish. Before someone could read the file, they would have to decrypt or translate it back to its original, readable form. Encryption protects your information from everything in between your computer and the place you are sending the information to. You can avoid viruses by using a firewall and antivirus software.

3. The future of the web is more people using it, transfer rates getting faster, and wifi being much more commonly used.

I enjoyed customizing my Voki. I liked learning how to publish it and add it to my blog as a gadget. I disliked the voice customizations with text due to several issues that prevented me from being able to listen to it. I think the Voki should be implemented with an edit option after it has been published. A blog would be good for somebody who creates websites because they can advertise their services, refine their webmastery skills, and keep a record of past experience in creating websites.
